behind the moniker les noobiens hides our very own
yathosho. this alter ego was the result of the
data-loss of the b2b (back to basics) pack. the pack
featured presets using a the most simple effect being
available in avs (avoiding dynamics etc).
the term newbie (n00b or noob in leet-speak) is an
informal term for a newcomer to a particular corner
of cyberspace, such as a web log, newsgroup, or the
world wide web itself. it can be used in either a
disparaging or a friendly way, based on the attitudes
the existing communities have on them. —wikipedia
the idea was picked up again under the noobiens
offshot, although slightly modified. the whole range
of effects can be used to achieve presets with basic
looks.
with little knowledge of the music scene one will
find the name les noobiens being derived from the
afro/european black-music duo les nubians.
